Abstract

Fish protein hydrolysate (FPH) normally has a high content of protein fundamentally because of the solubilisation of protein during hydrolysis reaction and expulsion of non- protein mixes, such as fat and other insoluble materials. Hydrolysis can decrease the peptide size and convert the hydrolysates to reachable amino acid resource for protein biosynthesis. Protein hydrolysate obtained from fish proteins are great nourishing enhancements as bioactive compounds. Proteases generated from FPH play a critical role in the growth and endurance of every single living organism. For marine animals, proteases are mostly produced by the digestive gland. Proteases are enzymes having the novel significance in cell and physiological processes and are synthesized by all organisms. This review depicts the significance and uniqueness of Fish Visceral Protease (FVP) obtained from FPH and its diversified industrial applications. The study will also throw lights on the current status and economical significance of Fish Visceral Proteases (FVP).
